Amazing pieces. I have been repurposing throw away pieces since I was in high school. It is amazing how a coat of paint brings these pieces back to life. All the best Cait!

    Hi Melanie!
The transfer is Catalogue of Roses from Iron Orchid Designs! I cut it apart and placed it differently in the dresser!

Love all the blues in your work, my thing is Periwinkle, but smokey blue would be a better seller for sure! Your description of the Eastlake piece sounds wonderful in your Podcast! i’ll be on the hunt to find a photo of it on your blog or Facebook page or perhaps you have it on Pinterest? I have and Eastlake dresser sitting in a hunting house in Kansas (we’re in Wyoming!) and your description sure has inspired me to do something with it! I’m glad to have been introduced to your work!

Beautiful photos. I love how bright and airy your pieces look, even the dark ones. I listened to the podcast. Way to go Cait! Can never get ahold of the Palm Pro we don’t get them in our area but I love how small it looks.

I loved the pod cast. It’s such a great way to learn about the more personal side of painting furniture! I also enjoy looking at what’s behind the boxes, so I can learn more about the refinishing process.

You have done some beautiful pieces! I have also painted pieces for my home and created many pieces of art, for years and have been encouraged, forever, to take my artistic talent out and sell it. So I’ve finally decided to do just that! Need to build up inventory but would love to try a good quality paint brush.

Lovely work that revives something that most people want to throw out. Such a fun, relaxing space to be in when making over a piece. Also, why do we leave our own pieces incomplete for so long (so guilty of this!), they really are marketing tools for us?!
